The Charlestown Fire District is committed to providing the public with access to public records under RI General Laws Section 38-2-1 et seq.  Any person who wishes to request a public record should complete a "Request for Records Under Access to Public Records Act" form.  This form is available by following the link at the bottom of the page or from the District Clerk.  Completion of this form is not mandatory but is used to facilitate the request.  In the event a requestor does not wish to complete the form, a verbal request may be made of the custodian of the records, the District Clerk, at 401-954-9171.  To view the entire two page PDF of the "Charlestown Fire District Access to Public Records Act Procedure" please follow the links at the bottom of the page.  When completing and mailing the request form, please mail the form to:
